Martin Whittaker is a member of the Management Board of HL7 UK, a non-profit company responsible for the development and promotion of the use of HL7 communications standards in the UK.

This gives Touchstone an excellent insight into the strategic and technical issues surrounding the HL7 standards and its use in the UK.  This insight has been central to many of the company's projects.
